  • Business Development Managers work to improve an organization's market position and achieve financial growth. Defining long-term organizational strategic goals, builds key customer relationships, identifies business opportunities, negotiates and closes business deals and maintains extensive knowledge of current business outsourcing market conditions.
  • As a BDM, It is our job to work and collaborate daily with the internal department teams, customer service, operations, recruitment, HR and IT, and other key executives to increase sales opportunities, fully transparent and thereby maximize revenue for Cloudstaff.
  • Both in the development phase and the implementation phase, the BDM's collaborate and integrates the knowledge and feedback from our internal support department teams to assure that Cloudstaff is capable of implementing the sales opportunity successfully with a seamless onboarding experience.
  • To achieve this, we need to network and 'hunt' aggressively for potential new customers, present to them, ultimately convert them into new clients, and continue to grow business in the future. We will also help manage our existing clients and ensure they stay satisfied, happy and positive. BDM's will have regular weekly meet ups with their Sales Director & Pioneers (Account Managers), call on clients, often being required to make presentations on solutions and new services that meet or predict their clients future growth needs.
  • Part of the BDM role includes the analytical and weekly/monthly seat sales forecasting, preparation of potential growth opportunities for the Sales Director, Senior Management as well the ongoing support and monitoring of its client implementation and onboarding process.
  • The Business Development tools to address the Business Development tasks are the business model answering the question -'How do we make money' and its analytical backup and roadmap for implementation, the Business Plan.
  • Overall, the Business Development Units defined tasks and processes concerned will be focused on analytical preparation of potential growth opportunities, and the support and monitoring of the implementation of growth opportunities, but does not include decisions on strategy and implementation of growth opportunities which will be based on the Executive Boards direction and approval.
  • The primary role of the Business Development is to prospect for new clients by networking, cold calling, advertising or other means of generating interest from potential clients.
  • We must then plan persuasive approaches and pitches that will convince potential clients to do business with the company. They must develop rapport with new clients, and set targets for sales and provide support that will continually improve the relationship. They are also required to grow and retain existing accounts by presenting new solutions and services to clients.
  • Business Development works with Mid and Senior level management, Operations, HR and IT. We may manage the activities of others responsible for developing business for the company. Strategic planning is a key part of this job description, since it is the BD Director's responsibility to develop the pipeline of new business coming in to the company.
  • This requires knowledge and understanding of the market, the solutions/services the company can provide, and of the company's competitors.

Qualifications And Requirements
Bachelors Degree in any related field
  • Experience in BPO
  • Sales for a minimum of 2 years
  • Excellent communication skills
  • both written and verbal
  • Team Player, strong work ethic with a positive mental attitude
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
