About our Client:

Aforma is a Portland residential designer and builder of high quality, thoughtful modern homes and ADUs, a licensed Oregon general contractor, and a registered member of the Portland FIR program which streamlines planning review and permitting. In much of their work, they operated in an Integrated Project Delivery fashion, with independent architects and engineers fusing together to create a beautiful project flow.
They are a lean construction company that strives to create integrated project delivery for the better total value. Our complete suite of services and our end-to-end process provide you with a steady, single source of guidance through design, engineering, permitting, budgeting and lender requirements, scheduling, and construction.


  • Drafting and modeling including architectural, shop drawings, structural, and MEP
  • Create a model from extracted Point Cloud data.
  • Create project renderings in Lumion.
  • Perform takeoffs in Revit and Esticom
  • Develop company and project-specific templates and BIM content libraries
  • Help maintain, track, and distribute project plans, RFIs, and other project documents/records using the Procore platform
  • Help manage submittals from subcontractors to architect/engineer for approval for all scopes of work based on the plans and specifications

  • Licensed Architect
  • Experience with Navisworks, Autodesk ReCap Pro, AutoCAD, Procore, and Advanced Work Packaging
  • Proficient with Google Docs
  • With at least background experience in Project Management and International Projects
  • At least 5 years of experience with Revit
  • At least 1 year of experience with Lumion or other rendering software (e.g. V-Ray)
  • A degree in Architecture and engineering with a strong design portfolio
  • Commitment to continuous improvement
  • Ability to work independently
  • Must possess deep technical knowledge and exceptional organizational skills
  • Strong understanding of residential/commercial construction processes
  • Excellent verbal, written, and facilitation skills; including the ability to influence, negotiate, and explain complex information clearly to internal and external stakeholders
  • Attention to detail and highly organized
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills
  • Great interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Demonstrated commitment to diversity, learning, and successfully working in multicultural environments
