High-Level Overview
The Direct Solution Services (DSS) team is responsible for assisting the Direct Sales Organization to maximize Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) while setting the groundwork for successful implementation projects by the Professional Services (PS) Delivery organization. DSS Team Members provide implementation, product and industry thought leadership during the sales cycle. They do this by identifying prospect's business objectives and aligning those to our SuiteSuccess product offerings. This includes scoping, estimating, documenting and communicating the prospect's solution and implementation strategy. DSS Team Members work with a variety of stakeholders including prospect's C- Level executives and Oracle NetSuite's Account Executives, Solution Architects, Delivery and Sales Leadership.
Responsibilities include:
First 3 Months (not applicable to IC1 - IC2 Promotes within DSS)
  • Developing an understanding of the Oracle NetSuite Sales motion
  • Developing a thorough understanding of the SuiteSuccess implementation methodology
  • Developing an understanding of thebasic functions available within the Standard Suite Success Financials First offering by completing available Functional Consultant training
  • Developing an ability to effectively complete a blueprint,pricing calculator and Statement of Work (SOW) for Standard SuiteSuccess Financials First deals
  • Developing an ability to effectively deliver the Professional Services (PS) Value Proposition messaging to an internal audience

  • Focussing initially on Standard Financials First deals and a primary industry (Major) growing into an ability to support Standard deals in other industries within the assigned vertical grouping over time.

  • Partnering with Account Executives (AEs) from the Emerging Sales Team to independently:
    • o Manage the Sales Motion with the AE to ensure that all required activities are effectively executed
    • o Escalate process exceptions to your manager for visibility and assistance
    • o Advocate for SuiteSuccess and communicating the advantages it provides to both prospects and the sales team


The Associate Solution Principal (ASP) brings 2 - 3 years of experience as a successful technology implementation consultant or is could also be an early career consultant that has developed sufficient experience to independently support Standard deals for the Emerging team. The ASP leverages this experience to gain the sales cycle, product and industry experience needed to support the Emerging Sales Team across several verticals. Over time the ASP will develop deeper skills in one vertical (Major) with a closely related vertical (Minor).

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Translate prospect's business objectives and processes to the SuiteSuccess SKU via the alignment to develop the appropriate scope, estimate and SOW.
  • Work with the Solution Consultant (SC) to develop a comprehensive understanding of the proposed solution and continue to build product knowledge
  • Tailor standard presentations to meet the needs of the specific prospect
  • Leverage other resources within DSS or other PS teams as appropriate
  • Conduct SOW Reviews and delivering the PS Value Proposition to prospects
  • Handle basic prospect objections effectively
  • Maintain the PS Engagement Record (PSER) by regularly updating notes related to the deal status, major design changes, estimated hours, SKU, etc.
  • Conduct reverse knowledge transfer with the delivery and sales teams
  • Continuingtobuildindustryandproductcapabilitiesby o Completing NetSuite Foundation certification
  • Completing industry and product training
  • Shadowing deals in the industry
  • Developing an ability to scope and manage deals that include a SuitePeople component
  • Building relationships within the organization byDeveloping working relationships with the Emerging AEs and PS Delivery Leads and Solution Architects
  • Contributing to continuous improvement by Participating in internal team improvement initiatives
