Position Description:
Join Amazon's HR team and help make a difference for all Amazonians! We are recruiting for an HR Services Associate based out of Manila, Philippines. This position specializes in the end of the employee life cycle: separation/off-boarding processes. You will partner with cross-functional teams like Legal, HR community, Benefits, Recruiting, Payroll and Compliance in Seattle, US to provide world-class customer service. You will get the opportunity to collaborate with the broader HR organization to deliver a smooth transition out of Amazon by facilitating the separation of employment. These transactions require additional due diligence, an eye on meeting all compliance requirements and business needs. You will act as a Subject Matter Expert for the team and partner with them to provide guidance, training and resolution related to the process.
. Process transactions for multiple HR employee programs.
. Provide support and partner with diverse HR teams.
. Respond to questions and troubleshoot program issues on behalf of employees, managers, and HR Business Partners.
. Draft audit reports detailing methodology, results, and recommendations
. Escalate issues and/or ideas for process improvement to Leadership and Management
. Verify data and perform data entry. Look for variances and discrepancies in data for correction
. Ensure that quality and timeliness of measurement deliverables meet customer expectations
. Understand impacts of changes in PeopleSoft system and how these will impact internal/external interfaces
. Continually strive to improve efficiency and effectiveness of existing systems and look for enhancements related to current systems and procedures based on KAIZEN and LEAN methodologies
. Manage confidential and sensitive employee information and adhere to strict confidentiality standards
Basic Qualifications :
. 0-2 years of overall experience
. Proficiency in English is a must
. MS Office experience required - Proven experience working with Windows, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
. HR software experience is preferred, but not mandatory
. Bachelor's degree or advanced college education in a related field (Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Industrial Engineering or alike)
. Ability to document and process transaction accurately and timely
. Superior attention to detail and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment to work in this rapidly changing HR environment
. Able to dive deep into any process and suggest solutions that are efficient and scalable
. Ability to prioritize workflow daily and ensure service levels are achieved at all times
. Should be flexible to work in shifts
Preferred Qualifications :
. 0-1 years of experience in HR transactional processes
. Prior work experience with HR, Recruiting Systems or human capital management software is preferred but not mandatory
. Comfortable working with large amounts of data, developing metrics and reporting tools
. Proficient in data analysis tools and report development (e.g. Excel, Access, Tableau) is a plus
. Exceptional attention to detail skills
. Problem solving skills. Ability to troubleshoot issues independently or escalate when necessary - sense of accountability and sound personal judgment
. Ability to appropriately prioritize work and responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
