We are seeking a Salesforce Administrator to join our growing sales support team. You'll be supporting a global sales engagement team, working to support our use of the Salesforce CRM platform. This is a broad and varied role, which will require juggling many requests and projects in support of the Salesforce platform. This includes monitoring compliance of the system by users based on Sutherland guidelines and data cleansing projects. This includes supporting end-users with report and dashboard creation and content updates as well as making moderate system changes under the direction of the Salesforce Technical Admin such as updating drop-down lists and workflows. The Salesforce Administrator will work as part of the team dedicated to ensuring that we are maximizing efficiency and capitalizing on the full features and benefits of the system based on the various user and Sutherland needs. We are seeking someone with excellent technical and communication skills who can interface directly with internal stakeholders and sales teams to understand their needs to provide relevant support. This person will serve as the 'go-to' for users as directed by the Sales Enablement director and Salesforce Technical Admin.
They would be expected to become familiar with and keep current on new releases as well as all systems we have integrates Salesforce with and AppExchange solutions. They may also be asked to provide training to new users on basic use as well as Sutherland established guidelines for records management. They may also perform basic updates such as add/delete users, change user roles, and add/update basic custom fields.
RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE (As directed by Sales Enablement Director or Salesforce Technical Admin)
Changes to the System:
  • Gather and track feedback from users
  • Communicate system changes to the users and answer questions on changes as needed prior to implementation
  • Manage the change request/change control process if appropriate
  • Create and maintain fields, views, reports, dashboards, campaigns, and other salesforce.com objects and functions
  • Create or modify custom objects when directed
  • Handle ongoing customization/ alteration of Salesforce.com.
  • Maintain and modify workflows, functions, and configurations within the Salesforce.com environment as directed
  • Respond to ad hoc reporting requests as needed
  • Provide support functions as needed.
  • Provide sales and financial data to company executives as needed

Maintain System Integrity:
  • Reassign Accounts, Contacts, and Opportunities in response to personnel changes
  • Grant/ remove and maintain user licenses

User Assistance, Training, Adoption, and Satisfaction:
  • Provide one-to-one training to end-users on an ongoing basis.
  • Help expand to use and adoption of Salesforce - attend planning meetings, assist with determining if /how Salesforce can be used in new ways as opposed to purchasing other systems
  • Use processes in Salesforce to help monitor activities, trends, sales, and leads.
  • Monitor usage and mentor users/groups needing assistance.
  • Be a company SME on Salesforce

Process Creation, Documentation, and Maintenance:
  • Document company processes and workflows
  • Develop process documentation and field maps

Data Quality, Governance, Migration and Maintenance:
  • Assist with migration/mapping from other systems/processes into Salesforce
  • Monitor neglected Leads, Opportunities, Accounts, and Contacts as appropriate.
  • Monitor and manage exception logs for back end system integration with SFDC
  • Manage duplicate records
  • Monitor and make recommendations to improve data quality
  • Ensure data integrity by merging duplicate Leads, Contacts, and Accounts
  • Identify unnecessary fields and data; ensure screens, fields, and workflow have accurate names and reflect current workflow.

Report and Dashboard Creation and Maintenance:
  • Create and maintain dashboards
  • Create and maintain reports including folder maintenance
  • Build and manage report folders for reps or other user groups to improve data integrity and efficiency

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
A system administrator needs a solid understanding of the organization's business. They must have solid Salesforce skills and ideally, understand the advanced concepts of Customer Relationship Management (CRM). Most importantly they should be proactive, organized, logical, and willing to pursue additional Salesforce credentialing and certification.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 2 to 4years of Salesforce administration experience similar to the job duties listed in this job description
  • Indepth knowledge of the standard capabilities of Salesforce
  • Strong reporting background using standard reporting tools including standard Salesforce reporting functionality
  • Detail-oriented and selfstarter with strong written and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team as well as manage multiple requests with competing priorities
  • Strong problem-solving skills, data and software applications
  • Great communication skills with an enthusiastic personality
  • Computer literate and proficient in standard office applications Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • The minimum expectation of a Bachelor's degree OR equivalent education/experience

No mandatory but preference for candidates who have:
  • Individuals who experience with the use of custom code (Apex, scontrols) and/or integration with external systems as well as developing custom Salesforce objects and workflows.
  • Experience with integrated systems Marketo, Apptus, Steelbrick, Conga, and Domo. Experience with analytics, CPQ, CLM (contract lifecycle mgmt), opportunity tracking, sales pipeline management, forecasting, and deal governance
  • Proven ability to utilize Salesforce.com as a sales analysis tool
  • Salesforce Administrator certification is a plus
