Job Description

Sales and Operation Planning Analyst is responsible to provide analytics support and coordination of S&OP across all plant sites and provide daily KPI Metrics Reporting that covers all facility of Electric & Lighting Group. Ensure understanding of overall S&OP process and how it impacts performance of the organization. As S&OP Analyst he or she will perform periodic analysis to support the organization in inventory management, backlog reduction and improving service level management. Drive key metrics for improvements and alignment to internal supply chain. He / She will work closely with the Central Planning team and each site plants to drive S&OP initiatives and monitor over-all performance.

  • Gathers, manipulate and scrub supply chain related data needed as per pre-defined instructions

  • Performs data validation to achieve data consistency.

  • Communicates with resource person to get input/raw data needed for report generation

  • Calculates data using available fields within the gathered information. (basic math)

  • Analyzes the data and provides in depth interpretation and recommendation based on findings (e.g. price parity, DPO parity, KPI metrics) thru comparative analysis (e.g. comparing actuals vs historical information)

  • Prepares standard supply chain related reports based on standard templates.

  • Extracts/generates quantitative information from databases using basic coding (e.g. tables, basic queries) Ex. Supplier Performance, Inventory Reports, Projected PO/WO Receipts, MPS Level Loading Chart, ABC Variation, Kanban Report, Bookings and Shipments Report, Dollarized Forecast/ Material Plan, Line Rates, Shipments vs Material Plan

  • Combines extracted data from multiple resources using automated tools (excel, macro, database, Crystal reports)

  • Interprets extracted data using automated tools to convert data to information relevant to the report (MS EXCEL, macro, database)

  • Calculates S&OP Line rate for existing Line ID's

  • Review and updates Pre-S&OP Decks based on the required changes to align with the organization goals

  • Gathers S&OP meeting result and implement adjustments needed for the material plan and forecast.

  • Follow business process in updating the system to ensure accuracy of information.

  • Updates Planning Parameters for New Product lines based on the guidelines provided. Act as liaison to ensure workflows are updated and are approve on time.

  • Maintain accuracy and consistency of all records, data, files and content of Share Point Dashboard.Modifies and tests existing data load script to automatically upload data to the system

  • Validates, encodes changes related to the system (e.g. part number, collection plan) and completes the setup based on agreed turn-around-time

  • BSIndustrial Engineer, BS Operations Management, BSBA in Supply Chain, Purchasing or other Engineering/Management related discipline.
  • 2.5 years related experience in Buying, Planning, Supply Chain, Logistics with data mining, manipulation, analysis and reporting experience
  • Basic understanding of MRP, ERP and SRM systems and tools
  • Familiarity with basic commodities
  • Able to read, analyze & interpret various data types in Excel, Outlook or PDF formats
  • Has experience in analyzing data in different formats and finding commonalities or discrepancies
  • Can understand/interpret technical documents such as product datasheets & price lists, manuals, catalogs
  • Good working knowledge on data interpretation & business processes
  • Knowledge in supply chain, buying, planning functions
  • Able to perform ad hoc and project-spend analysis and reports
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel proficiency (Level 2)
  • Proficient in other Microsoft office programs: Power Point, Word, Outlook
  • Good level communication skills for interacting with technical & non-technical people via email or phone correspondence in fluent English
  • Can provide data in an efficient and understandable manner
  • Uses Oracle or other similar applications for data entry
  • Capable of simultaneously using various systems/tools to complete requests
