Bring your career aspirations to life with AIA!You will be responsible for driving Agile adoption at an organizational level, acting as an internal transformation partner for Group Office and AIA LBU teams. You will manage the overall plan and approach for AIA Agile Transformation, working in collaboration with the Org of the Future team, Group Agile CoE Lead and CoE team, external partners and other Group Office/LBU teams.
Key responsibilities:
  • Establish and run the Agile Centre of Excellence
  • Support to establish and implement the Agile operating model principles, terminology, practices and governance to be used across the organisation
  • Enable agile ways of working aligning to the overall AIA agile framework
  • Align with Coaches to support teams on delivering value quickly by removing obstacles faced by the team
  • Provide coaching to Agile CoE team, executive, and managers, empowering leadership teams in building, growing and sustaining thriving agile teams
  • Roll out agile framework and practices, track and report metrics to stakeholders, including co-defining next projects/tribes to go agile
  • Facilitate workshops and sessions at an organizational level to plan and execute Agile transformation with ExCo sponsors and change agents. These sessions could include the QPR process sessions, design councils for the new Tribe launch etc.
  • Lead the Agile CoE Team in an Agile way by Coaching & mentoring the Team members
  • Promote and embed a culture of innovation, change and continuous improvement within each team and across the organization
  • Identify, raise and aim to mitigate challenges and obstacles for Agile adoption at an organizational level, from both process and people side of change perspectives, and collaborate with team members and/or the team head to resolve them
  • Drive adoption using change management practices and activities with ongoing maturity assessment for continuous improvement
  • Support to increase the internal capability and build Agile community for scalability and sustainability
  • Participate in the Agile community to share best practices and new ways of working
  • Provide continuous feedback on the Agile operating model and practices from both prior experience and observations from ongoing implementation and coaching experience

Key requirements:
  • You are experienced at driving Agile transformations from design to implementation
  • You have proven hands-on Agile delivery experience on a wide variety of projects/initiatives
  • You are experienced handling and facilitating Agile workshops with ExCo down the team-level stakeholders
  • You are a strong change agent and can influence mindset and behaviors, including those of senior leaders
  • You are a self-starter, with the ability to ideate, plan, and execute Agile related initiatives to support new ways of working
  • You are passionate about agile, innovation and change and are excited to promote and embed them across the organization
  • You are intellectually curious and love learning new skills and capabilities
  • You have a strong knowledge of agile ways of working including values, principles, practices and tools
  • Strong presentation skill in English, both in speaking and writing
  • You are able to communicate effectively and persuasively with senior stakeholders and team members
  • You have great empathic listening skill as a coach or mentor

Minimum Job requirements
  • At least 4-6 years of experience leading Agile projects including IT and non-IT projects
  • Passionate and interested in drivers of digital disruption both from a customer and organizational perspective
  • Demonstrated experience at driving Agile transformations from design to implementation
  • Knowledge of technical engineering best practices, e.g., test driven development, continuous integration, DevOps, etc. or knowledge of budgeting & funding model within the Organization
  • Experience coaching and training individuals and teams in Agile concepts and practices
  • Active in the Agile community, published papers, participation at conferences as speaker and contribution to Agile interest groups
  • Strong collaborative problem solver
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to present complex ideas effectively
