Job Description
Job Responsibilities:

• Provide systems support and troubleshooting on mission-critical Windows systems and services on a 24/7 basis

• Maintenance and troubleshooting of Windows 2008/2012/2016 servers and related SOE software packages

• Windows Core administration, command line remote administration, scripting for server deployments and consistent configuration

• ESXi and vSphere systems basis administration and support

• Drive and maximize automation of daily and periodic tasks

• Ensure system security and protect systems against security risks, apply security fixes, and monitor system activity.

• Communicate with delivery management, onshore teams, and application team work status, alerts, and service notifications tailored to the needs of specific audiences

• Document work, update/create Standard Operating Procedures, and brief team members and key user

• Continually improve personal knowledge and skills relevant to current duties, through on the job experience, self-directed research or formal training

• Work in shifts and takes part in the on-call duty


Qualifications:

• Proven experience with Windows Server Administration

• Understand advanced system management concepts such as redundancy, security, high availability, and system integration

• Basic knowledge in shell scripting and service automation

• Knowledge and Experience on Windows server roles such as AD, DNS, DHCP

• Knowledge and Experience on GPO administration

• Hands-on VMware experience

• Basic knowledge in the Microsoft Cloud and Hybrid Environment

• Knowledge in the network concepts

• Excellent oral and written communication skills and good customer relations skills

• Ability to work and communicate effectively within a global IT environment with people having diverse skill levels and varying backgrounds

• Personal initiative and self-discipline
