Job Description

The client provides quality eye care for patients of all ages.

Roles and Responsibilities:


• Load electronic copies of all invoices onto MYOB essentials and then load the bill. Each bill to have a linked document.

• Reconcile creditors statement against loaded MYOB bills so they reconcile

• Load statement onto Google drive for book keeper to check

• Contact creditors ongoing to ensure all invoices and credit notes are received and loaded

Creditor billing check:

• Check invoices from laboratory against price list to ensure correct prices are charged

• Contact supplier for credit note if not

Creditor credit note follow up

• Follow up with creditors to ensure credits are passed and copy of credit notes are loaded to MYOB essentials


• Get hours from staff members for each fortnight

• Check to ensure hours worked reconcile with amount of hours budgeted for the fortnight

• Report variances

• Prepare spread sheet so that I can load and pay wage

• Perhaps in time load the pays for me to authorise onto myob


• Research GP offices near each practice

• Email these GP offices

• Manage emails returned from them and action eg notify me to send business cards or call etc

• Research and email schools and other potential target groups and send marketing emails

• Notify of responses so I can action

KPI reports

• Tabulate KPI reports received from branches each day

• Send consolidated report each day to me


• Work with local debtors person to keep a spread sheet of debtors updated

Ad hoc work:

• Some virtual assistant work as it comes up Ad hoc


• 2 to 3 years of relevant experience

• Background with accounting

• Must be certified with Xero

• Keen on details and well organized

• Works well independently

• Social media savvy

• Must show initiative

• Excellent task management

• Excellent English communication skills (both verbal and written)

• Willing to work part time 4 hours a day - AU time

• Amenable to start immediately
