Job Description
You Will Do:
  • Take inputs from support to improve the product
  • Involve dev team for the more complicated issues that need deeper technical investigation and analysis
  • Organize information and/or training on product features to the operations and support team
  • Review incidents from support (P3 & P4) which become part of future product releases and determine its priority against other items in the product backlog
  • Communicate to customers and PwC client about outages (planned or unplanned)
  • Communicating ticket priority to the wider team
  • Provide timely support of operational processes as needed.
  • Management of day to day activities of the entire technical team (Level 1/2)
  • Monitoring the progress of incidents and following up when required to ensure incidents are closed off within timeframes defined by SLAs
  • Conduct reporting and analysis that will assist with improving support processes/platform
  • Conduct reporting and analysis that will help inform PMs decisions to prioritize feedback/product improvement opportunities
  • Cares about the overall system stability
  • Track and analyze trends in Help Desk requests and generate a statistical report
  • Provide technology leadership for infrastructure, scalability, and performance
  • Guide team development efforts towards successful project delivery.
  • Provide technical leadership to teammates through coaching and mentorship.
  • Maintain high standards of software quality within the team by establishing good practices and habits.
  • Identify and encourage areas for growth and improvement within the team.
  • Collaborate with other software developers, business analysts and software architects to plan, design, develop, test, and maintain web- and desktop-based business applications built on Microsoft technologies.
  • Assist in the collection and documentation of user's requirements, development of user stories, estimates and work plans.
  • Prepare reports, manuals and other documentation on the status, operation and maintenance of software.
  • Design, develop, and unit test applications in accordance with established standards.
You Should Have:
  • 5 years experience as a developer
  • 2 years experience handling a devops team or a technical leadership role
  • Extensive experience designing and developing enterprise grade software
  • Experience with source control management systems and continuous integration/deployment environments
  • Experience with automated testing
  • Experience with agile development methodologies including Kanban and Scrum Experience with multi-threading and concurrency
  • Experience with debugging, performance profiling and optimization
  • Comprehensive understanding of object-oriented and service-oriented application development techniques and theories
  • Strong client-facing and communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Willing to work on a shifting schedule, holidays and weekends
  • Amenable to work in Alabang
