Responsibilities:
  • Administer and monitor system availability using the ScienceLogic SL1 product
  • Maintain the SL1 monitoring system and act on alerts
  • Monitor system backup and recovery processes
  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly operational tasks as defined by management
  • Triage issues related to the sciencelogic infrastructure / applications
  • Manage hardware inventory in multiple global locations
  • Triage systems operations tickets for or from SaaS customers
  • Provide rotational schedule to provide onshore coverage
Required Skills:
  • 3 years experience in System Administration and/or NOC Administration
  • Demonstrated expertise with Linux commands and overall Linux administration experience
  • Must have experience with VMware virtualization products such as ESX or vSphere
  • Should be able to demonstrate basic troubleshooting steps
  • Knowledge of DNS, TCP/IP, and DHCP
