Job Description
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND RESULTS

1. Work independently on pre-sales activities which includes the following: 

• Preparation and delivery of the business value solutions for customers, including proposal writing, presentation, conducting Proof-of-Concept to showcase its technical feasibility when necessary.

• Proposal of the technical solution and oversee the selection of technologies and estimate resources required to develop the proposed solution to meet customer’s requirements.

• Articulate alternatives in terms of cost, benefit and risk where multiple solutions exist.

• Highlight the positive impact of NCS solutions and how it can achieve customer’s business goals.

• Provide a source of advice as we develop and implement customer’s strategies. 

2. Work with internal functions in establishing processes addressing business needs and coordinate with Internal Product Management Team, Services Organization and Marketing in addressing business opportunities.
3. Preferably with good knowledge of virtualization and cloud innovation technology

4. Responsible to train, manage and update Enterprise Channel Partner, Pre-Sale Consultant or Engineer on the product/ technology knowledge.

5. Ensure meeting clients requirements and assist sales in technical qualification during the qualifying process.

6. Conduct routine update on the new product/ technology to the internal sales staff.

7. Conduct competitor’s product analysis; Write technical white papers. 

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE / KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED

Education and Qualifications 
 1. Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.

2. Minimum 5 years working experience in Pre-Sales activities to large enterprise or government sector or related field.

3. At least 5 years of hands on experience in solutioning application development projects such as Java-based front-end and back-end application system.

4. At least 5 years’ experience in technologies involving Portal Development, Cloud-based solutions, Mobile Computing – a must.

Work Experience
 

Technical / Professional Skills (Please provide at least 3)

 1. Experience in tender/ bidding stage with at least 3 years of relevant experience in providing business value solution and presales support in application and system integration for customers including proposal writing, presentation, conducting Proof-of-Concept to showcase its technical feasibility when necessary

2. Ability to propose the technical solution and oversee the selection of technologies and estimate resources required to develop the proposed solution to meet customer’s requirements. Some experience in focused technologies ERP, Business Intelligence & Analytics, Virtualization, would be an added advantage.

3. Good articulation skills in proposing the alternatives in terms of cost, benefit and risk where multiple solutions exist.

4. Sound knowledge of current technologies, tools and industry trends

5. Certification on related industry and technologies is an advantage

Non-Technical / Soft Skills
1. Analytical, strong in verbal and written communication skills

2. Able to multi-task and work under tight deadlines.

3. Proficient in written and English communication

4. Must be able to travel as required
