Job Description
You Will Do:
  • The major responsibilities will be a administrating IT service management tool, ServiceNow. Configure ServiceNow following ITIL best practices
  • Provide immediate, direct customer support and troubleshooting help to end users through email, telephone and personal communication
  • Support daily operations and monitoring of multiple databases, user accounts, file permissions and other systems according to standard operating procedures for storage and backup architectures
  • Participate in required compliance activities as needed, including data log collection, statistical analysis and proper reporting standards
  • Interface directly with the help desk and IT support technicians to resolve and document hardware and software troubleshooting tickets, bug reports and errors
  • Perform workflow design, configuration, development & data loads for ServiceNow platform.
  • Perform advanced configuration including setup, administration, business rules, data imports, user interface pages, macros, scripting, workflows, tables, reports, dashboards & third party integrations.
  • Maintain architecture, design specifications, test cases, & training guides supporting enhancements.
  • Perform upgrades & customizations of ServiceNow platform based on guidance from project manager, architect, ITIL practice leads & customers.
  • Triage & fix defects found in ServiceNow platform, applications, & workflows.
  • Maintain & adhere to source code, configuration, release & software development best practices.
  • Own the design and development of our Service Portal and ServiceNow customizations and unit testing of implemented solutions
  • Manage ServiceNow compliance with quarterly patching process as well as new named releases which include testing, documentation, analysis of new functionality, and implementation of the release
  • Diagnose and resolve ServiceNow related questions to ensure the accuracy of business-critical processes. Interact with business analysts and business system users in this effort.
  • REST/SOAP including scripted web services and MID servers
  • Integrate data from multiple data sources where appropriate into a unified CMDB, ensuring data quality and integrity are maintained.
  • Adhere to and develop approved standards in software development
  • Develop user friendly service catalog items with experience writing orchestration workflows such as Content Management, Web Services
  • Provide recommendations to business analysts and business users for design and system configuration
  • Align with current testing and QA processes to support go-live readiness
  • Work independently and as a productive member of a team. Work closely with key business stakeholders and senior technology leaders
You Should Have:
  • At least 5 years of Professional experience as a systems administrator
  • At least 3 years of relevant professional experience with ServiceNow and a strong architectural understanding of the ServiceNow platform
  • Bachelor's degree in MIS, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of development and administration of ServiceNow and a strong understanding of ServiceNow development best practice
  • Proficient in all areas of ServiceNow development and configuration including but not limited to Business Rules, ACLs, Domain Separation, Script Includes, UI Scripts, Client Scripts, UI Pages, UI Macros, and UI Policies
  • Proficient in the development of web services (and the associated security patterns) including but not limited to JSON, SOAP and XML
  • Participation in the full software development life cycle: Analysis, Design, Coding, Testing, Training, and Operational Support
  • High-level interpersonal skills in order to collaboratively work with both technical and non-technical personnel at various levels in the organization
  • Ability to understand business needs and how business systems can support those needs
  • Self-motivated, can work independently or as part of a team, able to learn quickly, meet deadlines and demonstrate problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills
  • Detailed understanding of ITIL framework
  • Willing to work on a shifting schedule, holidays and weekends
  • Amenable to work in Alabang
