Imagine yourself going to work with one thing on your mind: you will be the primary point of contact supporting both internal and external customers. As you tackle your new tasks for the day, you know that it will lead to one thing your department believes in: that you will be creating new and embedded base technical solutions that support Client Services and Sales proactive, RFP, and RFI engagements.

As a Senior Pre-Sales Engineer, you will collaborate with the internal technology resources and the Technical Solution Manager to validate, capture and create new solution design documents plus assisting the client technology-enablement readiness. You will be preparing and delivering technical presentations and solutions explaining TaskUs products and services to customers and prospective customers. You will do cloud services, unified endpoint management, security services, infrastructure services, and enterprise architecture. You will perform interviews with customers to help identify requirements. You will maintain cloud-based tasks and documentation library real-time. You will continuously seek areas of improvement. You will work continuously with Sales and Client Services to develop solutions for inclusion to proposals as well as working with pricing to provide labor mix for pricing models. You will confer with customers, engineers to assess equipment needs and to determine system requirements. You will travel to the client’s business, assisting with proposals and discovery sessions to validate solutions prior to technical implementation.

So, what is it we’re looking for? Well, since this is a Senior Pre-Sales Engineer post, we need someone with strong communication and interpersonal skills. Someone with the ability to work with global stakeholders and delivery team members. Someone who has ethics and integrity. Someone with skills in problem management and resolution experience. Someone with strong client-facing written and verbal experience. Someone with experience with knowledge management systems (Confluence, Google Docs, etc.). Someone with end-to-end technology knowledge, such as (Desktop, Network Infrastructure, Applications, Cloud CRM tools, etc.).

What else? We need someone with experience in the call center industry and cloud-based software and services in order to help transition to support Technology, Client Services, and other business groups quickly upon hire. Someone with a Bachelor’s degree in business management, computer science, computer engineering, system analysis or a related field of study. We need someone with 5+ years’ experience combined experience working across multiple IT disciplines including, but not limited to: Security (e.g. NOC, SOC, design and implementation of Security Strategy), Networking technologies (e.g. VoIP, routers, firewalls, switches, cloud-based telephony), Mobility (both end-user devices and application development for internal users and customers), enterprise computing (e.g. Windows, Linux, UNIX, servers, NAS, SAN), IT Management (e.g. worked with Director level position or demonstrated ability to persuade spending of funds on IT transformational improvements), ITIL, Lean Six Sigma experience, preferred.

Lastly, 3+ years of call center experience is preferred. Someone who has excellent English proficiency has experience in Salesforce, has excellent analytical skills, and has a strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Project, Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint. Plus need some knowledge of Google Suites including Sheet, Slides, Docs and is willing to travel up to 50% for business and client-related engagements.
