Large Scale SAP S/4 HANA v 1809 (latest version) implementation, multiple-SAP Projects within a SAP Business Transformation Program in the Manufacturing industry
Dynamic, highly experienced ‘A’ team implementing all the new SAP technologies
Start with us at the beginning of Greenfield Project within this multi-year program
It is a very rare, exciting, opportunity to work with a highly completent team implementing SAP S/4 HANA. You will apply your in-depth, hands on SAP Data migration experience within this large, complex SAP Project as part of a larger SAP Program, working closely with our highly capable SAP functional and technical team, in a fast paced project environment.
Setting up of development environments and migration tools by liaising with application support and infrastructure teams
Maintenance of development environment(s) used for ETL scripts generation and testing.
Develop ETL scripts using the data mapping template
Deliver required unit test results for data verification.
Deliver transformed data in the form of requested format – excel or table.
Developing scripts to import manually updated data
Develop data reconciliation plans and reconciliation reports for SIT,UAT, and cut-over.
Assist in the verification and enhancement (as necessary) of data requirements produced through the detailed design process particularly from data migration perspective
Support other data analysts on data reconciliation activities with focus on mappings which are not one-to-one
Provide input to the development of overall data reconciliation processes and artefacts.
Facilitating the Business Data Reconciliation, including seeking endorsements for Business Data Reconciliation Plans, executing plans and reporting results and managing the business representatives
Assist in the design and development of the data migration tool set
Provide Cutover and post Go Live data migration support
Over 5 years’ experience with large scale SAP implementation projects. S/4 HANA migration experience would be an advantage
A high level of understanding and experience of data migration staging and ETL processes
Successful track record working as a Data Engineer on end to end transformation projects
Strong experience across data integration, data migration, data quality and data architecture.
Data extraction and processing skills using ETL tools (SQL)
Excellent English communication skills along with the ability to provide oversight and leadership
Demonstrated experience in a role requiring liaising with the business representatives/subject matter experts, understanding of business processes and developing source and target reconciliation reports to enable business to reconcile migrated data
Experience with performing Data Validations and Data Reconciliations
Ability to understand and deconstruct complex data structures to determine a desired and efficient business focused outcome
Experience in working on large scale ICT projects, in major business transformational change projects involving system development and integration of multiple systems
Experience in working on systems with multiple internal and external interfaces
Experience in conducting workshops with business and technical audience
Strong technical skills – specifically in SQL scripts and DB analysis
Autonomous – must be able to work under own initiative and with little supervision, but take direction from DM Technical Lead
Must be able to interpret requirements into actual outputs
Ability to articulate technical points to semi technical people
Organised, systematic, thorough, accurate and disciplined
Exposure to SAP migration projects in manufacturing industry
Prior experience building and using SQL queries to source data for source and target reconciliation reports
Experience and high level understanding of manufacturing, sales and finance master data objects like material master, vendors, customer, GL etc.
Enthusiastic problem solver with excellent written and oral communication skills
A team player – able to function without close supervision and mentor less technical personnel constructively
Experience in working closely with business representatives and business analysts to seek clarity on requirements and define test scenarios
Exposure to S/4 HANA migration cockpit
