Qualifications:
• Solid experience in procurement or Supply Chain Management

• Well rounded in Customs and PEZA processing

• Knowledgeable in Incoterms, duties and taxes, LC and other bank payment

preparation

• Strong coordination and monitoring skills

• With strong leadership skills

• Keen eye for details, highly analytical and timeline conscious

• Willing to work on Saturdays

Responsibilities:

ROLES

• Procure items and services requested by all departments to ensure

continuous and effective operations through low cost, timely and high

quality products and services.

• Provide direction and leadership to ensure that the department and

work units operate cooperatively and cohesively to achieve the

departmental objectives and targets.
ACCOUNTABILITIES

A. Supplier Management

1. Sourcing of reliable suppliers through various methods;

2. Classify all suppliers into nominated, qualified, outsourced or one-time

vendors;

3. Accredit supplier by conducting on-site visit and evaluation;

4. Check documentation of Supplier Accreditation records;

5. Mediates and provide solution to payment, delivery and quantity

conflicts;

6. Evaluate supplier performance and reliability in terms of quality, cost,

delivery and service / responsiveness on a yearly basis.
B. Procurement

1. Sourcing of requested items and/or services of high value;

2. Final negotiation with supplier to achieve best cost, terms, warranty

and/or scope of services;

3. Study factors affecting commercial terms and services being sourced as

basis for negotiation;

4. Initial review and assessment of contracts / service agreements given by

suppliers for services and projects;
5. Other activities that may be assigned
C. Continuous Improvement

1. Continuously review and improve all purchasing standard procedures,

policies and controls;

2. Ensure compliance and active participation to company’s Quality System

programs such as but not limited to 5S, ISO9001, Kaizen and small group

activities;

3. Identifies and analyzes potential problems and issues and develop

action plans to resolve such.
D. Leadership

1. Sets individual and departmental performance goals for work unit

aligned with the corporate objectives and targets;

2. Tracks progress towards attainment of goals set;

3. Evaluate performance of direct reports with identification of training

and development needs;

4. Works with direct reports to develop their skills and capabilities;

5. Plans and organizes work so all tasks are delivered efficiently, promptly

and effectively;

6. Guarantee adherence and commitment to company’s codes, conducts

and core values by the direct reports;

Location: Binondo, Manila
Work Schedule: Mondays to Friday – 8:00AM to 6:00PM; Alternate Saturday – 8:00AM to 3:00PM
