Job Description
Overview of Responsibilities:

• Support the management of the company in the creation of a range of Alsatian food, wines, and accessories products for selling online and offline within the Philippines

• Identify wines’, accessories and food producers, manufacturers and suppliers from France and from the Alsace Region

• Check the delivering capacity of the suppliers, the ability to export and mitigate any legal issues

• Deal with them the quantity and packaging of the products according to the expectations of the company and the specifics of the local market. Negotiate the prices for each product.

• Provide support in the exportation process according to the product import limitation and government regulation in the Philippines

• Oversee the FDA certification process and assist in processing the requirements

• Identify and set up commercial relations with the players in the Philippines who could import the products

• Run the price negotiation and discuss best agreements and condition in terms of the quantity required, supply chain administration and logistics requirement

• Assist the importers for FDA requirements, Product Development, Marketing, Legal, Finance, and Operations related to product specifications, quality inquiries, product recall, sourcing new ingredients, testing new products, and phasing in products within distribution based on assigned products

• Design, organize and manage for each supplier and importer the best logistic model in terms of effective cost and efficiency for the global supply chain process for each product imported from Alsace to the importers’ platform in Rungis/Paris to the Philippines

• Design, organize and liaise with the warehouse manager in relation with space, equipment, materials and sanitary condition necessary to store all the products imported

• Design, organize and liaise with the warehouse manager in relation with the repackaging process of each product imported under the brands ‘Heart of Alsace Wine Selection and Heart of Alsace Gastronomy Selection’

• Ensure that vendors, suppliers’ and distributors’ databases are consistently updated

• Liaise with the appropriate agencies to ensure that the platform for the purchasing, inventory, storage management, accounting, selling and delivering process of the products conform to the Philippines regulatory processes

• Work with the digital agency and contribute to the web design and platform management. Ensure that the online content (website, social networks and mobile application, etc.), as well as the marketing collateral (catalogue, brochures, flyers, etc.), are updated, to consistently promote the products on the market

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree

• At least 6 years of working experience in the related field

• Must be knowledgeable in the Import/Export process

• Must be knowledgeable in obtaining FDA certification

• Must have knowledge of laws and regulations relating to procurement

• Must have experience in inventory and warehouse management

• Highly competent with MS Office applications

• Must have an excellent negotiation skill

• Personable and has very good communication and presentation skills

• Highly analytical and attentive to details

• Possess excellent planning and organizational skills

• Must have good problem-solving skills

• Self-starter and able to work efficiently under minimal supervision
