Job Description
The Organisational Change Lead plays a key role in ensuring the project meets objectives on time and on budget by increasing employee adoption and usage. This person will focus on the people side of change, including changes to business processes, systems and technology, job roles and organisation structures. The primary responsibility will be creating and implementing change management strategies and plans that maximize employee adoption and usage and minimize resistance. The Organisational Change Lead will work to drive faster adoption, higher ultimate utilisation of and proficiency with the changes that impact employees. The Organisational Change Lead is the primary liaison between the project team and other internal resources needed to execute and deploy the various change management and communications activities. They are responsible for reviewing developing and executing all change management and communications-related deliverables.

ROLE REPORTS TO: Project Manager, Workday Financial Management and Human Capital Management (HCM)

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Apply a structured methodology and lead change management activities to create a strategy to support adoption of the changes required by the project

2. Lead the design, development, delivery and management of communications

3. Conduct impact analysis, assess change readiness and identify key stakeholders

4. Support training efforts by providing input, document requirements and support the design and delivery of training programs

5. Complete change management assessments

6. Identify, analyse and prepare risk mitigation tactics

7. Identify and manage anticipated resistance

8. Consult and coach project teams

9. Create actionable deliverables for the five change management levers: communications plan, sponsor roadmap, coaching plan, training plan, resistance management plan

10. Support and engage senior leaders

11. Coach managers and supervisors

12. Support organisational design and definition of roles and responsibilities

13. Coordinate efforts with other specialists

14. Integrate change management activities into project plan

15. Evaluate and ensure user readiness

16. Manage stakeholders

17. Track and report issues

18. Define and measure success metrics and monitor change progress

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION:

1. Should have at least 8 years hands-on organisational change management experience in any large ERP products like Workday, Oracle, PeopleSoft OR SAP Financial Management and HCM Products

2. Workday Financial Management and HCM implementation experience is an added advantage

3. Experience with large-scale organisational change efforts

4. Open to international travel to Australia, USA, and the Dominican Republic

5. A solid understanding of how people go through a change and the change process

6. Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools

7. Exceptional active listening and communication skills, both written and verbal

8. Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences

9. Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships

10. Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal

11. Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations

12. Resilient and tenacious with a propensity to persevere

13. Forward looking with a holistic approach

14. Organized with a natural inclination for planning strategy and tactics

15. Problem solving and root cause identification skills

16. Able to work effectively at all levels in an organization

17. Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with and through others

18. Acute business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges

19. Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of project lifecycle

20. Change management certification or designation desired
