Job Description
Company:

The client is a leading provider of non-emergency medical transportation in the New York City area. We are fully licensed by the New York State DOT and DMV, and meet all state insurance requirements. Currently, our coverage extends across NYC (5 Boroughs), Long Island (Nassau, Suffolk), Dutchess, Orange, and Westchester counties.

Job Description:

• Creating RSVPs

• Bidding on Assignments

• Dispatching Providers & Pricing Assignments

• Answer phones

• Request of Availability (We must offer price: Contracted Rates vs. Flat Rates)

• Follow-Up Confirmations (Confirming an upcoming assignment)

• Status Updates

• Find Client onsite

• Bid on assignments (Requests come in via email and phone)

• Create reservations in system

• Confirm availability of driver & email driver confirmations

• Calling Patients to ensure we have correct information (address, telephone number, drop off location, injury type, walking or in a wheelchair/walking crutches)

• Track job status & recording trip details (PU Time, DO Time, Notes)

Skill Set:

• 2 to 3 years experience in a similar role

• Must understand Maps and know how to navigate Google Maps

• Must be able to think on your toes to handle situations that arise when drivers call or if patients/clients call

• Knows how to use Uber app

• Must have good phone manner

• Must be a creative thinker

• Must be highly reliable

• Must be able to work well with others and independently

• Must have excellent command in English (both written and verbal)

• Willing to work part time 4 hours a day - US Timezone

• Amenable to start immediately

Must Haves:
