Network Administrator (Python Experience Required)
What you’ll be responsible for:

You will be working as part of a friendly, agile team focused on delivering innovative software-based

solutions to automate functions in our core IP/Optical network.

What you’ll need to be successful:

A passion for emerging technologies, you’ve kept up to date on top trends and love to bring new ideas

to your team

Experience in the architecture and writing of micro-services

Expertise in writing RESTful APIs

Extensive programming experience including Python

Knowledge of NoSQL databases

Familiarity with creating and implementing unit and integration tests

Development experience in data and message bus technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, 0MQ

Knowledge of CI/CD DevOps best practices and the tools to implement them such as Git/Gitlab, JIRA

Experience using configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, Chef

Knowledge of containerization and related tools such as Kubernates/Openshift, Docker/Docker Swarm

Knowledge of IP networking (MPLS, BGP-LS, Segment Routing) and/or Optical networking (DWDM,

SONET, OTN) is a strong asset

Knowledge of service and network modeling tools and protocols such as YANG/Netconf, TOSCA, HEAT

Experience working in an Agile or Scrum environment
