Learning/Training Consultant

Infocentric is looking for a Learning Consultant to join our dynamic and passionate team. Candidate

should be able to, under limited supervision, coordinate, design, develop and implement specialized

training and development programs, focusing on the adoption of and/or utilizing highly technical and

sophisticated platforms aimed at improving individual and/or organizational performance. Conduct

needs assessments and collaborates with subject-matter experts, cross-functional project teams,

and other customer departments to ensure programs meet client needs and project objectives.

Design and develop training and instructional materials, consults on organization-wide initiatives,

and recommends technical training resources based on technical advancements. 

Job Description 


● Delivers professional training solutions and specialized learning materials for highly

complex technology products or processes and programs

● Participates in the development of training strategy

● Provides consultative support to the design, development, delivery, and evaluation of

learning events. Assists with curriculum build ensuring material is presentation ready.

● Works independently utilizing project management discipline to execute on simultaneous

events, responsible for managing all duties within a learning event – scheduling,

securing resources, keeping project team on tasks to hit milestones, maneuvering

through obstacles, finding solutions, ensuring content build, facilitation of events,

manages technology, tracks attendance/engagement and maintains on ongoing

calendar of events. Has responsibility to drive timely execution of all events.

● Stays current on business process changes and/or interdependencies with projects to

identify curriculum changes needed and partners with Training Manager to maintain

library of all existing curriculum.

● Anticipates business needs and tailors training programs to support business goals.

● Regularly collaborates with QM, Best Practices and Training Manager on methods to

address skill gaps.

● In partnership with Underwriting Leadership and Business Subject Matter Experts, helps

develop a clear understanding of business strategy, goals and opportunities to ensure

training aligns with business objectives.

● Facilitates learning events

● Evaluate the results of training, determine effectiveness and recommend appropriate


● Proactively enhances knowledge and skill base by attending seminars/workshops in

given field

● Incorporates new knowledge in the development and/or delivery of course content

● Proactively seeks feedback on existing training curricula and communicates

opportunities and issues using prescribed processes, including providing recommended

solutions to Training and Curriculum Development Managers and taking the lead in

implementing recommended changes .

● Actively pursues personal training and development opportunities and relevant approved


● Responsible for achieving KPIs that are determined to be best suited for the

achievement of the overall goals


● 4-year college degree or equivalent experience

● Minimum 3 years experience in training/curricula development/employee development

experience strongly preferred or 2 years as Education and Knowledge Technologist.

● Computer/Technical Literacy – Adobe Presenter, WebEx, Skype, PowerPoint, Word,


● Strong organization and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple

training events/priorities at the same time

● Solid Facilitation and Presentation Skills

● Strong interpersonal and business communication skills with a focus on rapport building,

listening, influencing and the ability to deliver effective training programs.

● Understanding of instructional and non-instructional adult learning theories and applies

skills to meet the needs of the customer

● Effective teamwork and collaboration skills

● Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

● Organizational business knowledge - Telecommunications
