As an Integration Consultant, you will be working to support one of our client’s transfor-mation mission, focused on building and logistics solutions to professional and DIY builders in the Nordic region.

The Integration Consultant should have in-depth knowledge of J2EE framework and concepts in general, and will be a part of an agile development team, working on the deployment, customization and integration of different ERP applications within the organization. You are able to translate this knowledge into pragmatic and sustainable solutions of high quality, in accordance with customer requirements. Additionally, you will assist with assessments, estimates and recommendations for the prioritization of change requests and defect fixing.

You are outgoing, dedicated and responsible. You thrive on taking the initiative and actively communicate even technical information at different levels, depending on the target audience. Your approach is analytical, proactive and pragmatic and you are expected to take ownership of tasks. Your analytical skills are top notch and will be widely used in problem solving and devising workable solutions.

The responsibilities for the position are: 
• Support the transformation strategy via simplification and upgrade of the applica-tion landscape as a whole, moving away from proprietary solutions into a stand-ardized world, creating one common platform of IT systems cross organization

• Support daily operations while transformation is being executed

• Build, support, and maintain moderate to complex integration processes and data

• Collaborate with On-Shore resource in integrating existing systems and services into the intergration framework

• Automating repetitive tasks to increase team efficiency

• Works with users to support business applications, and investigate operational problems/system requirements

• Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results

• Prepares detailed specifications from which programs will be written

• Solves user inquiries that arise during day-to-day operation

Minimum requirements for the position are:

• Deep understanding of J2EE, JBOSS, web services, and the ability to determine the best approach to various challenges

• Experience supporting multiple enterprise level solutions (Architecture) with 5 years of experience with Java/J2EE Application design

• 5 years of experience with industry data integration technologies and SOAP/REST based API’s

• Knowledge in Dell Boomi (configuration-based integration) is a plus

• Experience with applications and technologies like Maven, BitBucket, GitFlow, Jenkins, Groovy, ELK, SonarQube, Mockito is preferable but not a must

• Practical experience in implementing systems within a complex secure network (Knowledge of integration with multiple enterprise solutions – ERP/CRM is a plus)

• Practical experience with offshoring and cooperation across borders with experi-ence negotiating and resolving issues in a multicultural environment

• Strong consultancy skills (i.e., should be able to advise customers on the cost/ benefit, and risks associated with project decisions)

• Excellent communication, documentation and organizational skills, and must be able to communicate effectively and work at all levels of the organization

• Innovative and proactive in solving problems and improving processes/tools

• Analytical, self-motivated, responsible, flexible and with positive work attitude

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
