Our most successful candidates will have:
Good communication skills and flexible to come in any shifts Must have expertise on Microsoft patches and hotfixes (Update classification /Severity Level /Supersede rules /Expiration criteria) Must have expertise on sccm Software Updates, Application Deployment and sccm patch compliance reports. Must have hands on experience in sccm client installation (remote and local), creating collections based on queries etc. Excellent troubleshooting skills for fixing SCCM agents and WMI. Excellent troubleshooting skills for the Installation issues of Microsoft patches. Must be capable to think outside of the box and devise methods to carry out the patch management activities without depending on sccm. knowledge in scripting and remote installation tasks using batch files and PowerShell. Good understanding of System services / registry Files / file and folder permissions / event Logs / Group policy Processing/ on Client operating Systems (windows 7, windows 8, and windows 10, ) in physical and virtual environment / Windows Embedded OS Environment (thin clients) Minimum of 4 years of experience in patch management using sccm for an organization having 10000+ endpoints. Bachelor's degree in engineering or networking related field or equivalent work experience. In addition to the above, expertise in any other patch management tools will be an added advantage.
Ensuring all machines in the patch management scope are reporting to sccm. Identify the applicable patches released by various vendors and create respective software update packages for deployment. Ensuring patch deployment for the organization is carried out every month which include testing/change requests. Monitor the patch deployment, generate weekly/monthly compliance reports and coordinate with local IT teams to fix the non-compliant machines. Carryout the regular maintenance tasks on sccm collections to eliminate decommissioned and inactive systems. Provide 100% patch compliance reports as per the business requirement.
