APAC Assurance Technology Support Manager – Data Delivery TeamThe use of data analytics and automation is a key focus of EY's Assurance practice and an integral part of the audit services we provide to our clients. The APAC Assurance Technology team collaborates with Assurance client facing teams and Global IT to deliver strategic technology solutions for a wide range of clients which include the Data Delivery program. The program focuses on centralizing the process to request, capture, transfer, transform and prepare client data for analysis and delivery of assurance output and insights.The APAC Assurance Technology Support Manager will be responsible for supporting, maintaining and improving the APAC Assurance Data Delivery system.The Opportunity:We are currently seeking qualified candidates for an excellent career opportunity in a dynamic team, based in the Philippines. The successful candidate will be required to lead and manage a cross border team and communicate effectively with different stakeholders across the Area, reporting and providing insights to the health of the APAC Assurance Data Delivery system. The successful candidate will report to the APAC Assurance Technology Automation and Support Leader based in Sydney. Key Responsibilities include:• Monitor and manage daily systems ‘health checks’ and follow through on any items requiring action• Provide technical and business insights to the leaders of the team to:- Escalate matters to Area Leadership - Assist with forecast planning • Lead and manage the Asia Pacific Assurance Technology Support team to focus on assigned priorities• Liaise with the IT Data Delivery Operations team to raise & follow up issues and provide technical guidance with a business lens on• Ensure maintenance of system operations and software applications• Communicate with internal stakeholders to resolve technical issues• Manage the maintenance of internal process and support knowledge base documentationEducation, Skills & Attributes for Success:• University graduate with project management experience. A technology background and strong familiarity with technical infrastructure (e.g. servers, storage) and application (e.g. SQL) is strongly preferred• Business acumen to understand cost vs. benefit in day-to-day decisions and recognize issues before they arise• Strong attention to detail is required whilst not losing focus on the bigger picture• Excellent command of spoken and written English• Dynamic mindset to work through conflicting priorities across multiple projects and operational issues.• Ability to build relationships (face-to-face and virtually) with individuals effectively across multiple cultures.
