TheRestaurant Systems Officer / Industrial Engineer (Product Improvement)provides strategic leadership in ensuring the effectiveness of restaurant systems through proper management of unit's initiatives related to Kitchen Operation and Systems, Speed of Service Innovation, Channel Services and Sanitation.
  • The role will entail formulation and delivery of projects to ensure that store operational efficiency standardsare consistently met.
  • Conceptualize/plan the short term and long-term development projects on store systems and procedures. Review and update the plan (with objectives, action plan and timetable) on a monthly basis, and report updates to his superior on a weekly basis or as often as needed.
  • Develop, review, and approve store systems, procedures and standards. Ensure the completeness of the operating and implementing guidelines for system wide application.
  • Review and recommend systems and procedures to assist store operations to conform to FSC standards, government regulations on food & hygiene and other requirements.
  • Initiate project/s and recommend action plans in improving store profitability such as asset optimization, manpower planning, product forecasting, energy conservation, store modeling, etc. launches for execution in the store.
  • Lead the unit on the over-all assessment of store systems and procedures to identify areas that requires development or improvement actions. Work together with other concerned units for immediate action and planning.
  • Design and develop the store systems and coordinate with operations training group for the development and cascade of training programs.
  • Collaborates with R&D and Marketing on improving/refining work processes, programs, product
  • Oversee the design and development of store equipment and tools (specifications and parameters).
  • Ensure that store systems, equipment and tools are reviewed and updated.
  • Ensure proper and timely dissemination of systems and procedures documentation pertaining to store operations.

  • A College degree in Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering, Business Management or any related course.
  • At least 2 years of work experience doing Project Management, Process Innovation and Improvement at a managerial capacity.
  • Analytical, process and result driven, innovative.
  • Articulate, confident and has good interpersonal relations skills demonstrating ability to engage with people across all levels in the Organization.
  • Able to appreciate business process at an end-to-end level and can integrate information.
  • Strategic and has proven leadership and management skills with ability to drive the unit's goals or vision effectiveness of its own organization and development of its direct report.
  • Amenable to work in Ortigas
  • Full-time position.
