Job Description

  • Qualifications:
    • 5+ years of experience working as a developer/designer in Business Intelligence and Data Warehouse space (MS BI stack; SQL, SSIS, SSRS and SSAS multidimensional and tabular).

    • Advance SSIS/SQL/TSQL skills.

    • Experienced in various reporting tools (CR, Power BI, Tableau) is desirable, 
    • Strong understanding of data warehousing best practice and frameworks in an enterprise environment

    • Business analysis capabilities to engage and support business users in the design, development, and implementation of solutions

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high degree of initiative and flexibility

    • Experience around data analysis, data modeling, data integration, and database design.

    • Has worked in DevOps position before

    Key responsibilities include:

    • Managing and enhancing BI/DW data platforms per architecture guideline and platform governance

    • Continuously review and optimize data platform, ETL orchestration, and performance of reports/dashboards.

    • Collaborating with key business stakeholders to deliver and continually enhance the BI platform to provide relevant and accurate insights through the delivery of new datasets

    • Assist in the delivery of proof of concepts to leverage emerging technology

    • Working as a unified team by maintaining a strong working relationship with various information technology departments, service delivery, applications, and infrastructure teams.

    • Ability to be a team player and demonstrate flexibility to deliver the best outcomes for the business
