Job Description

The client is a creative start-up agency residing out of an old brick building in South Yarra, Melbourne.

Job Posting:

• Create engaging content to generate interest and virality for all campaigns

• Design our digital marketing plan, including our marketing database, email, and display advertising campaigns

• Plan and manage our social media platforms

• Prepare accurate reports on our marketing campaign’s overall performance

• Oversee creation and maintenance of marketing calendar

• Ensure execution of marketing campaigns across all channels online, mobile & print), blogging, social media, direct mail, email, events, and mobile

• Develop and maintain project plans for key marketing activities

• Coordinate resources and escalate issues to assure timely completion

• Assist with vetting opportunities, and coordinate a variety of PR activities as directed

• Develop/Manage conversion goal oriented retargeting strategies and campaigns

• Develop/Manage the content for email nurture automations in conjunction with the Digital Marketing Production Manager

• Demand Generation Content production and optimisation of online content

• Manage/Oversee staff that set up, manage and optimise campaigns within Google Ads (SEM, Display, Video) including keyword lists, ad copy, bid strategies, and budgets that drive click-through rates

• Project manage and execute multi-channel campaigns including: developing messaging and the execution plan, briefing internal stakeholders/resources and external agencies/suppliers, overseeing the roll-out and generating proactive analysis to optimise performance

• Grow social media presence (paid and organic) and assist with community engagement. Manage social media budgets.

• Assist with the messaging and execution of above-the-line brand campaigns

• Creation of new processes and procedures to scale marketing activity and drive efficiencies

• Able to work across various marketing automation, digital platforms and social channels

• Working knowledge of Programmatic Advertising

• Work with Directors to develop and execute a busy schedule of targeted lead generation activity and campaigns across a variety of channels, mostly BTL to drive increased new business leads for the sales team

• Liaise closely with business unit GMs and sales teams to plan campaign activity and develop customer offers and incentives

• Engagement of the Inside Sales Team ensuring they are utilised as an extension of the lead generation integrated approach

• Managing data lists and the salesforce lead experience

• Assist in tactical execution of marketing and PR programs

• Provide management with reports on marketing activities and opportunities

• Provide ideas and copywriting for social media posts (Facebook, Linkedin and Twitter). Monitor social channels and recommend actions

• Work with Web Designers to update content for website, including SEO and SEM activities

• Order literature and collateral from all vendors as necessary

• Researches, tracks and organizes intelligences on competitor marketing communication activities

• Coordinate production of marketing materials including direct mail pieces, flyers, brochures, posters, displays, collateral, products, audio/ visual, multimedia, newsletters, and print advertisements

• Maintain marketing and editorial calendars

• Communicate with co-workers, management, clients, vendors, and others in a courteous and professional manner

Skill Set:

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or business related field or equivalent experience.

• 5-7 years related work experience in project management, conference planning, webinars, website tracking, collateral development, and support of marketing strategy/ promotions

• Working knowledge of Google Analytics, DFP (DoubleClick for Publishers), Google AdWords, enterprise email service providers, and social media management platforms

• In-depth knowledge of campaign management and execution across online advertising, display, PPC, social media, SEO, SEM, email marketing, display advertising, blogging, and affiliate - knowledge of traditional media and advertising platforms preferred

• Strong computer skills and working knowledge of web-based tools and Microsoft Office application including but not limited to Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint

• Working knowledge of Salesforce, HubSpot or CRM database; website-related software knowledge

• Highly detail oriented and organized, ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines with exceptional prioritization skills

• Ability to work independently across multi-departments

• A clear, engaged, effective communicator, with a positive, can-do attitude

• Solid writing skills, and thorough thinker

• Experience developing and managing marketing projects

• Comfortable with financial analysis, financial reporting, web analytics, customer acquisition, customer retention, lifetime value, and churn metrics a must

• Strong project management and multi-tasking skills

• Strong written and oral communications

• Experience with brand management and consistency

• Strong negotiating skills

• Willing to work full time 8 hours a day - AU Timezone

• Amenable to start immediately
