Job Description:

Website

Website redesign, development, maintenance, improvement and implementing of data monitoring systems

Updating images, improve page layout provide new page designs, development of landing pages that integrate with marketing strategy;

Use Google Analytics and other software to determine effectiveness of website, eg. website Heat mapping (eg Crazy Egg, Hot Jar, Inspectlet, Datadog http://1stwebdesigner.com/crazy-egg-review/, http://www.paulolyslager.com/heatmap- hot-or-not/ other free trial periods)

Identify and implement actions that will improve SEO results

Development of blog pages and articles as part of marketing strategy,

Facebook

Routine posting onto facebook page, design and layout of Facebook page to maximize it as an information source and generator of leads.

Monitor posts and respond as necessary.

Develop a facebook marketing program using paid advertisements, boosting and other measures. One program for brand awareness and lead generation, and a tactical one to coincide with flight or other specials to encourage sales;

Monitor results and produce report with results and incorporate into website results.

Implement a Facebook monitoring strategy using the Facebook pixel strategy.

Google

Ensure that all relevant details for Google are correct and active eg Google Plus, Google

places, Google Maps etc.

Identify key search words based on cost versus search frequency and develop an

Optimum Search Word (OSW) set. This will include long tail search phrases but also

other information identified through other web sites.

Develop and implement a Search Engine Optimisation strategy based on the OSW set.

Develop and implement an Adwords and Remarketing Strategy based on the OSW set.

Monitor results and produce report with costed results incorporating Google Analytics

information.

Digital tracking

Compile and integrate information from all digital marketing areas and identify cost –effective strategies to focus on based on tracking data compiled from multiple sources eg. Facebook, Google, Conversionfly and other relevant software.

SECONDARY ROLES

Graphics design

Preparation of ads templates for online marketing such as Facebook, Google remarketing and print publication.

Provide graphic design services for webpages, electronic mailouts, report preparation including: Image manipulation and image creation

Publishing and document preparation including preparation of a Tourism Awards submission.

Design email templates and other stationary templates, a sponsor's sign at the local golf club

Electronic Direct Marketing (EDM)

Develop suitable templates for email marketing campaigns, one for routine emailouts pre-arrival, post arrival, follow up and special alerts.

Assist in developing and maintaining a client database for EDM

Assist in developing and implementing a mailout strategy

Monitor results and produce report with key measures identified.

Genera Data collection

Collect and compile other relevant data including but not limited to:

Property reviews on third party websites

Property listing position on third party websites

Skill Set:

2 - 3 years of strong background or work experience as a Graphic and Web Designer

A good portfolio of work samples is essential to help the assessment process.

Webpage development expertise is required, experience in Wordpress is essential and experience in other software or plugins will be regarded highly including Thrive Themes, email software, etc

Ability to develop and analyse digital marketing strategies is very important and the candidate must be able to show some proficiencies in this area and also the ability to learn more strategies.

Good eye for professional layout and design

Proficiency in commonly used graphics and publishing programs and access to the relevant programs.

Willingness to be challenged professionally and develop alternative solutions

Good understanding of marketing funnel development and linkage across multiple platforms.

Understanding of, or willingness to learn, software used for customer tracking, identification of relevant statistics for ROI analysis, and conversion strategies.

Good ability to listen and challenge accepted ideas.
