Job Description
  • Provide technical IFS operations support and work closely with ERP stakeholders
  • Maintaining and managing Oracle Databases and IFS Middleware
  • Assist in operational task in close collaboration with IT Operations team
  • Communicate to stakeholders any ongoing operational maintenance
  • Be part of the 24/5 rotation scheme
  • Create and update SOPs for L2 and L1
  • Update and maintain documentation
  • RMAN backup and restore for all Oracle databases
  • Performance tuning and monitoring using Oracle tuning pack
  • Responsible for Oracle quarterly critical patching
  • Oracle Active Data Guard maintenance and monitoring
  • Report progress in the operation area of IFS
  • Address IFS operational issues, maintenance and communicate to stakeholders
  • Perform patching and deployment of IFS environments
  • Build and refresh Oracle Databases
  • At least 5 years experience in Oracle Core DBA skills – specialized in RMAN backup and restoration
  • Experience with Oracle Data Guard
  • Knowledgeable with performance tuning
  • Willing to learn both database and application operations
  • Ability write Complex SQL statements is essential
  • Experience working with ERP Technical Activities is a plus
  • Oracle 11g DBA Oracle Certified Administrator (OCA) is preferred
