Job Description
Job Role:
As the Copywriter, you are responsible for articulating clear, concise, and creative ad copies for content and ads that GroWorx and its clients require. These include but are not limited to website content, blog articles, PR news releases, social and display ads, search ads. The role also requires the application of SEO principles to maximise the reach and awareness of GroWorx.

The role will meet with clients and internal departments to discuss and establish project objectives, research current trends and the target demographic, and design and troubleshoot the copy aspects of an ad campaign, from the initial planning stages until the finished campaign. You should possess an understanding of graphic design concepts and software and excellent interpersonal skills.

Our ideal candidate has a strong work-ethic, collaborative, highly skilled, has a strong eye for detail, and knowledge and passion for technology.

Responsibilities:
  • Write clear, attractive copy with a distinct voice
  • Interpret creative briefs to understand project requirements
  • Co-develop creative big ideas with the GroWorx team
  • Collaborate with designers, PR and other professionals on large- and small-scale marketing projects (e.g. email campaigns and landing pages)
  • Conduct high-quality research and interviews
  • Edit and proofread copy as needed
  • Use SEO principles to maximize copy’s reach
  • Source images and other content for content curation efforts
  • Present creative proposals and ideas to GroWorx clients
  • Plan, develop and execute editorial calendars
  • Analyse content performance and refine as necessary
  • Research relevant topics that can be used or reused for content
  • Engage clients on a regular basis to ensure content performance is on track
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a copywriter or related role- ideally has written tech-related content
  • Knowledge of online content strategy and creation
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
  • Experience with SEO
  • Strong research skills
  • Creativity and has a collaborative spirit
  • Excellent time-management and organizational skills
  • BS/BA in marketing, English, journalism or related field
  • A clear understanding of various digital content distribution platforms
