Content/Copywrite Specialist

Job Description:

The Communication Specialist position is to handle the many facets of Company's internal and external communications which comprise our digital strategy. This position will include the maintaining of a unique brand voice, developing and executing marketing and public relations campaigns, coordinating the development and production of relevant multi-media content, and social media management. In addition, the successful candidate should have a working knowledge of how to identify target audiences and execute strategies to engage said audiences(s).

Job Responsibilities:
-Research and write press releases, and content for the company website, infographics, blogs, and newsletters.
-Adhere to the company's style guide, ensuring that we produce high-quality and error-free copy.
-Organize and input any collateral pieces, including product guides, advertisements and any other promotional material.
-Track and report on the effectiveness of all communication types the company is currently using.
-Coordinate, monitor and oversee editorial calendars and timelines.
-Arrange and coordinate press conferences, plan events.
-Managing internal communications (memos, newsletters, etc.)
-Develop and implement a communication strategy that includes media outreach and social media content creation.
-Build long-term relationships with influencers and key stakeholders and facilitate the resolution of disputes.
-Manage media inquires and arrange interviews, statements etc.
-Work with key internal role-players to brainstorm content ideas, in line with company's strategy and in support of various brand initiatives.

Skills & Qualifications:
-College degree required, Master's degree preferred, with studies in Marketing, Marketing Communication, Advertising, or comparable field.
-Minimum work experience of 5 years in copywrite and/or content related job function(s), highly prefer prior experience in financial services and/or insurance industries.
-Excellent portfolio with proven track record of successful project management examples
-Current writing experience for all media platforms.
-Prior work experience with multi-media content development and production is highly preferred.
-Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
-Experience and knowledge in copywriting, proofreading and editing.
-Highly computer literate with capability in email, MS Office and related business and communication tools.
-Proven social media and community management expertise.
-Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines.
