The Principal functions of a Compliance Officer are as follows:
i. Identify the relevant Philippine laws, and their implementing rules and regulations directly affecting the Company’s operations, and to set up a central compilation point and monitoring system as evidenced by a fully documented and updated Compliance Program.
ii. Oversee and coordinate the implementation of the compliance system.
iii. Identify, monitor and control compliance risks.
iv. Conduct periodic compliance testing with applicable legal and regulatory requirements in accordance with the Compliance Program and report the findings and results of these periodic testing.
v. Report to the Corporate Governance and Compliance Committee any matters relevant to the Compliance Program and its implementation, as well as material breaches in the pertinent laws, regulations, code of conduct and standards of good practice.
vi. Establish an open communication process with the Company’s personnel and/or conduct training, seminars, and workshops as may be deemed necessary and proper to educate and update the personnel on compliance matters, pertinent laws, regulations, codes of conduct, and standards of good practice.
vii. Consult and constant communication with Internal Audit and Regulatory agencies for clarification on specific provisions of laws and regulations.
viii. Coordinate with Corporate Governance and Compliance Committee in updating the Compliance Program, at least annually, to incorporate changes in laws and regulations and such changes in the Program which shall be approved by the Board of Directors and submitted to BSP within 20 banking days from date of approval.
ix. Monitor and report to the Anti-Money Laundering Council any covered and suspicious transactions within ten (10) business days from occurrence thereof.
x. To timely submit the compliance and other related/reportorial requirements as may be required by the rules, regulations, circulars or directives issued by various regulatory bodies.
The Compliance Officer shall be delegated with other duties and responsibilities as deemed fit to his qualifications and designation by the Company’s senior management from time to time
Must have at least a Bachelor's Degree
Should have at least 1-year experience as a Compliance Officer preferably in a banking set up
Knowledgeable in BSP and AMLA Compliance
Willing to be assigned in Eastwood Cyberpark Bagumbayan, Quezon City
