Job Description

Role purpose

•Manages inbound documents and generic email mailbox
•Register all claims processed for English and Chinese
•Performs relevant claims data entry and administrative support activities
•Receives, records and registers all incoming insurance claims for assigned area
•Processes claims related payments based on instructions received

Technical Performance

•Claims Admin Support in receiving, recording and processing all incoming insurance claims for assigned area
•Interpreting basic policy coverage's and determining if coverage's apply to claims submitted, escalating issues as needed
•Create payment recquisition within the GSSC authority limit in the most efficient manner and ensure timely delivery
•Identifying suspicious or potentially fraudulent claims, notifying supervisor, arranging investigation and briefing solicitors if further action is to be taken


•Fundamental knowledge of the insurance industry
•Basic knowledge of Microsoft tools
•Positive "Can Do" attitude
•Good organisational skills
•Analytical and communication skills
•Strong attention to detail
•Adherence to strict time lines and accuracy
•Sound PC skills with fast and accurate typing

•Can read traditional Chinese characters


•Some customer service/ insurance or clerical experience
•Basic claims knowledge and understanding of products
