Accounting Operations Manager
Eastwood Libis QC
Tuesday to Saturday | 5 AM to 2 PM
The Accounting Operations Manager will be responsible for operational leadership and support, process development and hands-on management of a team of 5-10 accountants.
Reporting to the Director of Client Success, this position's primary responsibility is to create and implement standardized accounting processes across the team, ensure high performance and engagement of team members, and high-quality deliverables for Clients bookkeeping and accounting services.

Train and coach an accounting team working remotely in a cloud-based environment to deliver superior outsourced accounting and operational services.
Balance workflow by aligning clients needs with accountants expertise and capacity.
Review accountants work to ensure the use of company standards
Maintain gross margin for assigned clients and team
Address accounting related inquiries, resolving problems and issues promptly, ethically and professionally
Learn and embed Stride Principles throughout your team

Provide exceptional accounting and operational service to our clients.
Standardize the accounting processes of our 100+ clients as much as possible
Proactively develop and implement process improvements on an ongoing basis, including documentation of procedures and training the accounting team
Implement efficiencies and ways to streamline existing procedures
Collaborate with all teams to impart accounting procedural knowledge as it relates to best practices
Setup, test, implementation and hand-off of accounting processes related to new operating properties and technology

A minimum of a Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
8 years of related accounting experience with 4 years of hands-on management experience including hiring, training and developing a highly engaged service-oriented team.
Experience in a Public Accounting firm highly desirable.
Commitment to consistently follow established policies and procedures while holding team members accountable to do the same.
Confidence in learning and embracing new technology including QuickBooks Online,, Expensify
Ability to multi-task, think independently and problem solve in a results-driven, team-oriented environment.
Communicate clearly and professionally, both orally and in writing.
Maintain the highest level of confidentiality while working with client data.

In addition, qualified candidates ideally have the following experience and attributes:
Experience in developing strong remote team relationships based on trust, accountability, integrity, and sharing of best practices.
Superior relationship building skills and account management experience with clients ranging from pre-revenue to $50m in revenues.
