Job Description

• Plans, schedules, and supervises complex technical and clerical accounting activities in the collection, recording, processing, consolidation, and distribution of a wide variety of financial data.

• Implements and contributes to the development of internal financial standards and controls that conform to the statutory requirements, best practice, and comply with accepted accounting procedures and standards to enhance organizational effectiveness.

• Controls and monitors encumbrances, accounts, balances, classification of expenditures, and salary distributions; corrects and prevents problems and makes adjustments as required.

• Assesses the Company's financial performance and recommends appropriate actions to be undertaken to achieve financial targets.

• Supervises the disbursement of all funds with responsibility for accounts payable and other obligations, including maintenance of internal controls to safeguard assets.

• Revises, develops, and directs the preparation of periodic and special financial reports, statements, summaries, and projections for analysis and decision-making.

• Confers with operating and management personnel in the design of accounting systems to ascertain data integrity and reporting requirements, resolve complex accounting problems, and facilitate the implementation of new practices and procedures.

• Plans, organizes, and coordinates the year-end close process with internal and external auditors.

• Interprets and researches laws, regulations, rules, and procedures related to accounting and acts as a resource to provide information on technical accounting, taxation, and reporting matters.

• Manage annual audits and tax preparation engagements.

• Performs specialized assignments that have a high overall impact to the Company's financial condition and position, exercising due diligence to ensure protection of all Company assets.

• Prepare budget documents such updated estimates and budget adjustments and monitors vs. actual analysis on a yearly basis.

• Manages the annual planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes.

• Recommends alternatives to management when financial data indicates trends or situations requiring actions.

• Participates in business review process to maximize business growth while ensuring compliance with accounting principles and standards.

• Acts as liason with contract auditor, contract service bureau, government agencies, and financial community.


• Degree holder of BS Accountancy

• Certification as Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is required; preferably also a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA)

• With over five (5) years professional accounting experience in a Managerial capacity

• With excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Has the willingness to work under pressure

• Willing to be based in Dagupan City
