Job Description
The Account Manager is a vital contributor to the Sales Team by creating, maintaining and enhancing relationships with clients. He is expected to have proven time and personnel management skills, critical problem-solving skills, out-of-the-box thinking, exceptional communication, good sense of urgency, and prioritization. The Account Manager shall be ultimately responsible for commitments and deliverables to clients through constant communication and proper setting of expectations.

To be successful in this role, the Account Manager will need to possess our core values of honesty, loyalty, and customer-centricity; have excellent communication and project management skills; Understand each business (or account) that they are managing; deliver on commitments; identify and inform clients on opportunities for business advancement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Intake new clients; identify expectations and communicate commitments to delivering departments
  • Communicate project development and delivery from intake to completion with clients consistently. Rigorous follow-up to ensure timelines are adhered to.
  • Be available to accept and accommodate calls, chat, and other communication channels from English speaking clients globally within the Agreed working hours
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the client businesses ‘accounts’ you will be working with and managing.
  • Document client instructions and communicate clearly and concisely to project contributors
  • Plan, schedule and comply with campaign schedules and deadlines, ensuring work is fulfilled in full and on time.
  • Ensures work is of good quality before handing on to client for review/approval.
  • Track, assess, and report campaign milestones and deliverables
  • Monitor billing, payment and production triggers for assigned clients
  • Establish, develop and grow business relationships with clients
  • Renew contracts where applicable
  • Report weekly to management on KPI’s set and developed during the course of the engagement with management
  • Is early in communicating campaign successes/results. Is the 'first bearer of news, both good and bad'.


Requirements:
  • Minimum of 1-year experience in sales, business development, project management, and/or account management
  • Strong ability to communicate and engage
  • Ability to communicate across all employment levels (staff or managers)
  • Confident, strong, and comfortable dealing with small to medium enterprises
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to details, critical thinking and learning abilities
  • Excellent presentation skills with confidence presenting findings, analysis and information and ability to overcome objections
  • Good understanding of SEO and online marketing fundamentals and principles is an advantage
  • Good working knowledge of current internet technologies and latest industry trends in online marketing is a plus
  • An understanding and exposure in business management principles and marketing is an advantage
  • Work experience with e-commerce companies (.com’s) is an asset
  • Exposure to western cultures (either travelling, education or working abroad) is an asset
  • Exposure to a programming language is a plus
