Job Description
GENERAL DESCRIPTION

  • The Customer Service Specialist is responsible for representing the account to clients through inbound calls and chat support. The tasks are varied and often complex in nature requiring flexibility and multi-tasking capabilities. The Customer Service Specialist should be able to use customer service skills and product knowledge to effectively address the needs of the customers. 
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Transfer calls quickly and efficiently 
  • Liaise effectively with other departments 
  • Independent problem solving skills to make sound decisions in assessing the needs of the customers by giving accurate information and providing first call resolution 
  • Understand all aspects of the business and products in order to support effectively 
  • Attend and participate in team activities such as: team huddles, Up-training, etc. 
  • Responds to inbound customer emails/chat and enquiries with detailed response and action accordingly 
  • Handle all requests with due skill and care 
  • Demonstrated strengths in verbal and written communication skills including appropriate grammar and punctuation. 
JOB QUALIFICATION AND REQUIREMENTS

  • 3-5 years customer service experience in the BPO industry 
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in backend admin processing 
  • Excellent customer service skills 
  • Must be a CSAT Champion/ Top Performer 
  • Previous SME, Coach or TL - (Preferred but not required). 
  • Excellent english communication skills 
  • Effective listening and organizational skills 
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks 
  • Problem solving skills and can work in minimal supervision 
  • Ability to learn new workflows and tasks quickly 
  • Working knowledge of CRM, ideally Salesforce.com
