We are looking for a brilliant Lead Analyst for our brand new Indirect Procurement analyst team based on the company's Manila office. This is an excellent and exciting developmental role for who is looking to lead people within a highly global organization. You will report directly into the Director Procurement, R&D and Professional Services based in the US.

This will be your opportunity to help develop a new group from the ground up. FMC is pulling together a group of people with outstanding analytical minds that you will get to coach and manage. The resources in this team will be exposed to all areas of Indirect Procurement across all business divisions and regions (mostly NA and EMEA): Operations, Logistics, R&D and all sub-categories of Professional Services. Your job will be to help distribute workload, help manage the team’s workload, review work and provide constructive feedback to improve work product and ensure client readiness.Along with an analyst in the US, you will serve as the right hand to both the Director Procurement, R&D and Professional Services as well as Director Procurement, Operations and Logistics to help produce executive level analysis work when required.
Finally, given that this group is new, you will also support the Director Procurement, R&D and Professional services in determining the vision for this analyst group. This includes: developing the processes, standardizing templates and methodologies, defining the type of work the analysts should/should not do, designing the 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 year strategy and vision for the group.The right candidate for this role will have well rounded experience in areas of Professional Services, Logistics, Operations and R&D as well as advanced analytical skill sets with a desire to help foster and grow an analyst team.

People Management & Developing Team (~50%)
 Providing the team with day-to-day support, direction on work product, sourcing activities and general team development. This includes but is not limited to:
• Train, guide and support the team with analytical and quantitative thought processes
• Manage knowledge transfer with effective coaching and mentoring
• Ensure effective communication flow
• Manage team’s workload and priorities
• Provide constructive feedback and help drive improvement and development
 Lead the team enthusiastically and help create a supportive environment for growthAnalytical Work (~25%)
 Conducting analytical work when the team is heavily burdened. This includes but is not limited to:
 Developing, publishing, collecting and analyzing RFx responses
 Gathering internal data from systems (SAP) and other sources to analyze spend, price, and compiling refined analysis to critically asses future potential opportunities and efficiencies
 Conduct supplier and market research
 Develop quality PowerPoint presentations to portray work product
 Gathering internal data from systems (SAP) and other sources, analyzing spend, price, critically assessing data per country and across sub-categories for opportunities and efficiencies
 Developing business critical analysis when requested by the Directors of Procurement for executive level presentations and inquiries

Vision Building (~25%)
 You will help define and develop the group’s (but not limited to the items below):
 Mission and objectives
 Roles and responsibilities
 Turnaround times
 Standardized templates
 You are expected to be proactive with regard to improvement suggestions for the group’s effectives i.e. how to improve appropriate utilization of the group, how to best engage with the group, what is working well and what isn’t

Minimum Requirements
 Minimum of Bachelors degree in Science, Business, Engineering
 Minimum of 5+ years of previous experience in Supply Chain, Procurement or related area
 Ideally would have previous experience effectively leading (directly or indirectly) and managing a team, managing performance, setting goals for team/individuals and provide mentoring.
 Advanced skills in MS Excel, Access and PowerPoint, and thorough understanding of and expertise in data manipulation, sorting and analysis tools.
 Strong quantitative and analytical skills as well as knowledge of and experience with statistics.
 Strong problem solving, analytical and communication skills
 Solid interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a matrix organization
