Job Description
Market Analyst

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Conduct market research 
  • Review industry and market direction to support operations, sales and marketing initiatives. 
  • Share LT thinking on what is needed in terms of market/competitive intelligence 
  • Identify prominent competitors especially those located in the Philippines, India and SE Asia 
  • Create roadmap/timeline for reaching overarching goal. 
  • Support employee engagement through surveys and research relation to employee engagement and retention 
  • Create credible SWOT analysis and identify opportunities to improve brand recognition with strong emphasis on how we can differentiate our offering from competition 
  • Build standard templates that can be used for sales collateral 
  • Identify key target market sub-segments and high value prospects 
  • Compile a comprehensive database of relevant conferences and media contacts 
  • Design and conduct survey to discover existing and prospective customer preferences 
  • Create and manage relevant editorial calendar 
  • Provide recommendations for business improvement 
  • Provide assistance to sales and marketing team 

  • Graduate of marketing, communications or business degree from a reputable university. 
  • Preferably with 1 to 2 years of experience in market research or as business analyst. 
  • Extensive experience in research studies, from start to finish. 
  • Close familiarity with advanced statistical analysis and methods of research. 
  • Must have excellent technical communication skills. 
  • Computer literate and knowledgeable in MS Office programs such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. 
  • Knowledgeable about the outsourcing / BPO industry. 
  • Internet savvy and has a passion for research and writing 
  • Ability to read and understand information as well as analyze and comprehend its details. 
  • Must be highly organized and with excellent multi-tasking skills and ability to prioritize activities effectively. 
  • Proactive, motivated, detail-oriented, willing to be trained, and driven to achieve objectives. 
  • Must be creative and has excellent time management skills.
