DESCRIPTION


The Security Engineer will be responsible for the implementation, maintenance, and integration of customer security architecture and will be responsible for the delivery of customer security architecture. 

This is a critical post-sale role align across the Security Line of Business. The security engineer plays a key part in ensuring managed security services is rendered at the highest quality and standard a plays a key part in providing start to end support for the customer on the highest quality.

This individual will also be responsible for implementation of security hardware and software, enforcing the network/system security policy and complying with customer requirements such as security policy and regulation. Likewise, will be responsible for mainly Project Management such as but not limit to Project Schedule, Delivery Timeline, Managing engineers schedule. This individual will also be customer point of contact to handle customer inquiry and concern.
 

Other responsibilities include:
  • Performing analysis of customer requirement and contributes to integration, design and installation of hardware and software. 
  • Analysing, troubleshooting and correcting network problems remotely or on-site. 
  • Maintaining and administering perimeter security systems such as Next Gen Firewall and Advance Threat Prevention Solution. 
  • Ongoing support for customer on managed security services 
  • Working with Sales for Product Purchasing 
  • Raising and Tracking Orders to Vendor. 
  • Managing Documentation 
  • Working with Engineer to resolve any arising issue. 

REQUIREMENTS
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and technical skills 
  • Proactive with ability to succeed in an dynamic environment 
  • Ability to work remotely from own initiative 
  • Domain knowledge in Networking is preferred. 
  • Knowledge of IPS, Firewall, sandbox technologies 
  • Proven experience in a Project Management position. 
  • Advantage in having knowledge in Sales environment, familiar with quotas, quarterly focus, reporting structures and standard operating procedures 
  • Good product knowledge in Checkpoint, FireEye and SIEM is a advantage

PRE-REQUISITES
  • At least 3- 5 years experience in IT Security or Post-sales engineering roles 
  • At least 3 years experience in IT Security Project Management roles
  • University Degree or Diploma in relevant fields (e.g. Engineering, computer science, data communication, and etc). 
  • Non-degree/diploma holders will be reviewed based in job experience 
  • Relevant security certifications will be advantages 
  • Relevant certifications such as PMP will be an advantage
  • Familiar in IT operations such as technical change management, release management and etc. 
  • Advantage and priority will be given to candidates with the stated product knowledge.
